For customers, clients, and visitors, one of the first things they notice is the parking lot. A business that projects a clean and professional image is one that recognizes that the parking lot is their first opportunity to make a GREAT first impression. A parking lot that is well marked, directing people safely throughout their property — whether it’s for drop-off zones, handicap locations, or loading zones — represents a business that has taken the time to safely direct its visitors.
A well-marked parking lot promotes safety and convenience by informing your customers where to park, stop, or walk. Professionally striped and marked parking areas will accomplish the following results:
- Safety
- Improved and efficient traffic flow
- Effective utilization of space, ensuring the business is able to accommodate as many visitors as possible
- Designated parking, accommodating disabled persons, customers, employees, and other visitors
What we handle.
Most paving failures don’t start at the surface — they start under it. Excavation and grading is the work that determines whether asphalt lasts twenty years or seven. We handle site excavation prior to paving on new lots and remove-and-replace jobs: stripping the existing asphalt, dropping to the right depth for the load the lot will carry, and re-cutting grade so water moves where it should instead of pooling where it shouldn’t.
We also cut drainage swales to direct surface runoff to existing inlets or daylight points, dig utility trench cuts for water, sewer, gas, and conduit, and run sub-base prep and grading — bringing in 3/4″ quarry process, compacting in lifts with a vibratory roller, and proof-rolling so soft spots show up before pavement covers them.
Because the same crew handles excavation, base, and paving, you don’t end up with the seam problem you get when one company digs and another paves over their work weeks later. The base goes in tight to spec, the asphalt goes down on top of it the same week, and there is one person on the hook for the whole pavement section.
